Account Information

• Full name and email address (via email signup or Google Sign-In)
• Phone number (optional, provided by you)
• Profile photo (if signing in via Google)

Machine & Work Data

• Machine names and registration numbers
• Operator names and contact numbers
• Hourly rates and work entry records
• Running hours, fuel costs, maintenance records
• Customer names, phone numbers, and addresses
• Payment records and transaction history

Technical Information

• Device type and operating system version
• App version and crash logs (for debugging only)
• Login timestamps and session information

We use your data only to operate and improve JCB Work Entry. Specifically:

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard infrastructure:

• All data is stored on Supabase — a secure cloud database platform hosted on AWS
• All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption — data is encrypted in transit
• Database is protected with Row Level Security (RLS) — you can only access your own data
• Passwords are never stored in plain text — we use bcrypt hashing
• Session tokens are stored securely on your device using encrypted storage
• Servers are located in secure data centres with 24/7 monitoring

Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. If you suspect any unauthorised access to your account, please contact us immediately.

JCB Work Entry offers Google Sign-In as a convenient login option. When you use Google Sign-In:

• We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google
• We do not receive your Google password or payment details
• We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, or any other Google services
• Google's own Privacy Policy governs how Google handles your data during sign-in
• You can revoke access at any time via Google Account Permissions

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We share data only with the following trusted service providers who help us operate the app:

You have full control over your personal data. You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correct — update or fix any incorrect information in your account
• Delete — request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export — download your work entry data as an Excel file at any time
• Withdraw consent — stop using the app and request data removal at any time
• Object — object to any processing of your data that you did not consent to

We keep your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services:

• Your account data is retained while your account is active
• Work entry records are kept until you delete them or your account
• If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days
• Crash logs and technical data are deleted after 90 days
• Backups are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle

JCB Work Entry is designed for business and professional use only. It is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

• For significant changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification
• Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy
